Entegrity Solutions Announces DCE Support for AssureAccess

November 19 , 2003 - Entegrity Solutions® Corporation,
a leader in application security software and services for
eBusiness, Application Servers, Portals and Web Services,
announces the release of Distributed Computing Environment
(DCE) Support for AssureAccess®. AssureAccess allows application
developers deploying secure e-business solutions to easily
include authentication, single sign-on, authorization, audit,
user management and security policy administration in their
applications without building custom security code for each
application.
AssureAccess supports a technology called User Repository
Connectors (URCs). URCs allow AssureAccess to use authentication,
authorization and permission information stored in third party
repositories. With a DCE URC, users of Portals, web servers
and application servers can now use their DCE credentials
for authentication, and then use their DCE permissions to
control authorization decisions.
“Supporting DCE in AssureAccess enables organizations
to bridge between Internet, Intranet and workgroup environments
which use DCE. Rather than having different sets of users
to register and manage, organizations can now administer all
environments from a single infrastructure,” said John
