Entegrity Solutions Announces AssureAccess 3.0
with Support for Linux and Apache 2.0

October 27 , 2003 - Entegrity Solutions® Corporation,

announces the release of AssureAccess 3.0. AssureAccess allows
application developers deploying secure e-business solutions
to easily include authentication, single-sign-on, authorization,
audit, user management and security policy administration
in their applications without building custom security code
for each application.
New features of AssureAccess 3.0 include:
- Support for Linux as the authentication and Single Sign-on
server
- Support for the Apache 2.0 web server
- Support for JDBC-compliant databases as authentication
providers

web sites to complement the embedded security features found
in Apache with AssureAccess, providing sophisticated enhanced
authentication single sign-on and authorization functions,”

AssureAccess provides SSO within a management domain, as
well as in cross-domain environments. In cross-domain environments,
AssureAccess supports the Security Assertion Markup Language
(SAML) as defined by OASIS.
The Policy-based Access Control (PBAC) provided by AssureAccess
is the most complete and powerful authorization engine in
the market, enabling organizations to implement not only Access
Control Lists and Role-based Assess Control, but also the
next generation authorization technology. PBAC can be applied
in web servers, servlets, and application servers as well
as programmatically.
