Entegrity AssureAccess Sets New Performance Benchmark

San Jose, Calif. - 5/16/2001 - Entegrity Solutions® Corp., a leader in access management and application security software and services, today announced its AssureAccessTM access management software set a new performance record of up to 65 percent faster for critical real world authorization speeds than competing solutions. The results were achieved in tests conducted by National Software Testing Labs (NSTL), the global leader in information technology testing. These results underscore Entegrity's commanding performance lead in the access management software marketplace.

According to a report published by NSTL, Entegrity AssureAccess delivered superior authorization performance in real world user environments, delivering linear scalability due to its unique Entegrity FastAccess™ architecture, which enables authorizations to be completed at the Web server. Based on a one million user extranet scenario with a six web server configuration, Entegrity AssureAccess can achieve 321,120 authorizations per minute.

In addition, Entegrity AssureAccess also maintained maximum authorization performance in more dynamic security policy scenarios, demonstrating virtually identical performance compared to scenarios with a basic security policies.

This unique architecture offloads the authorization decisions from the AssureAccess security server directly to the web servers, improving response times and scalability. The architecture also enables application data to be fed directly into the policy evaluation engine, facilitating dynamic policy decisions.
