John Griffith: Vice President of R & D
John Griffith brings over 26 years of experience in
the computer industry with experience at Entegrity Solutions,
Gradient Technologies, Hewlett-Packard, Apollo Computer,
the MITRE Corporation, and the U.S. Army. He has provided
technical consulting on the design and implementation
of enterprise-wide security architectures and distributed
applications for some of the largest financial and telecommunications
companies in the world.
As a manager and engineer at HP, John contributed to
the definition and development of the Distributed Computing
Environment (DCE) and several additional products such
as the Developer’s Toolkit and Object Oriented DCE.
He also served as a member and a chair for the IEEE
committee defining security standards for the UNIX operating
system.
Griffith holds a B.S. degree from the United States
Military Academy, an MSEE from Johns Hopkins University,
and an M.B.A. from Northeastern University. He is a
member of the IEEE, the ACM, and the ISSA.
